The ultimate in "Luxury Pet Hotels"

The last few months my husband Galen and I have been attending various Pet Adoption Fairs with my book, "Paws of Wisdom" and we have had a lot of fun meeting new people and supporting a good cause. There are so many cats and dogs who need good homes. Unfortunately, there seems to be more of them then families who want to adopt.

At these events you find information on animal hospitals, nutritional products for the pets, clinics who offer free spaying and neutering, pet sitting services, new holistic services, such as acupuncture and massage for dogs and cats. Since our pets are part of our family we want to have them have the best care when we are away on vacation. Many pet owners like to travel and need a safe, clean place they can trust to leave their furry friends. Although many hotels now are accepting pets, unfortunately many times we cannot take them with us. At these fairs, I discovered that there are so many new places available that are 'pet hotels' that sound like the latest upscale day spa for humans. Some of these facilities have a day camp, day spa and veterinary hospital in the same building with doctors on call 24 hours a day. Some include obedience training. This is the ultimate luxury living for your pet. Way to go. So, next time you want to do something different for the weekend attend one of these events-most of them are free admission, but some do charge a minimal fee of $7.00 to $10.00. You will enjoy the day outdoors and get valuable information, not to mention all the things that are available for you to purchase.
